hysteresis of comparator

hysteresis of comparator is a large signal phenomena.
if for a comparator with hysteresis the small signal model's V+ and V-
are not consistent with the large signal model ,is it important?

hysteresis of comparator

hysterisis is a phenomena of opamp and means "the opamp will exibit hystereris or a feedback" and is decided by an external circuit not the signal model.

Re: hysteresis of comparator

you can build hysteresis in an comparator with positive feedback
such as cross coupled pair . of course you can bulid hysteresis use resistive feedback to accomplish it .
i point the first state . it is about an comparator that can get out of noise
and not opamp

hysteresis of comparator

I think it's depend on the working environment of the Hysteresis comparator. If you use it to aviod mistrigge under high frequecy noise condition, the hysteresis result measured in a short time transient is avaliable, but if you want to use the DC spec of this comparator, the hysteresis result measured in a long time transient is avaliable or you can get the value through DC simulation. Normally, the slower input voltage varies, the hysteresis measured is smaller, and more close to the DC result.
