actually my final year project is to design low cost optical power meter...can i use pin photodiode compared to photodiode..what is the advantage between them?
if i use multi mode fiber optic ..how about the connectors to connect to pin photodiode..is it possible?
any idea..or anywhere i can refer to..
and bout the wavelength of the optic source ,mean to say about the accuracy of optical power meter ..can i narrow down my scope to 850n?and if i want to open my scope to 850n,1310nm and 1550nm ..is it possible..how bout the circuitry design..will it be complicated?any reference i can do on it..
what kind of optical sources can i use?
any suggestions on type of fiber optic and also connectors?
thanking in full of anticipation..
