permit.hsp site:www.edaboard.com

After installing !c50 in linux, there will be a file named "hsp!ce" under <C@dence-IC50>/tools/dfII/bin/. Then if Hsp!ce is needed to simulate the circuit in An@logArt!st environment, !c50 will first call the "hsp!ce" file under <C@dence-IC50>/tools/dfII/bin/, this program is a shell script file and will first search the file named "permit.hsp", if this permit.hsp is not found, then Hsp!ce will not run even though Syn0psys St@r-Hsp!ce has been installed and can be run independently in linux.
My question is how to use hsp!ce in An@logArt!st environment without the file "permit.hsp"?

permit.hsp isn't the problem. Check your hspice license which should has cadence interface feature.

You can remove the shell script under Cadence install path, or add the synopsys' install path before cadence's path.

SIMIF is a different thing. It is independent of cadence analog artist environment.
