Hi Friends,

I have been trying to search for information on communication
on the Ethernet line (physical), but I would like to learn more
deep into the hardware detail.

How the byte are tranmitted and received using the 4 pair of wire.
What are the A+ A- B+ B- C+ C- D+ D- for?
Have been using RS232 for quite some time.
RS232, uses only 3 wires to complete the communication.
I find it hard to relate communication using ethernet.

Anyone has any idea how each bits and byte is
transmitted in Ethernet,
in terms of electronics hardware,
besides the manchaster coding.
Examples would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your explaination and references.

Ethernet use four differentials channels. That is the
reason for + and - markings. RS232 is a single
ended system. RS485 for other hand is differential as
ethernet.
