Question about cadence 5.0 install procedure

now I has a question,after I finished installing CD1,why system didn't prompt me to insert CD2? which step and when to insert CD2?

the installer will ask for location of the three cd's before the actual installation starts.

untar the file in one station. then system will install it . no need to ask you!

I am having a simliar problem too!

I have the contents of the 3 CDs in 3 folders.

I have redhat 9.

I tried creating 3 iso files out of the 3 folders as follows

dd if=/home/user_name/Cadence/CD1 of=/home/user_name/Cadence/CD1.iso

But it says
dd: reading '/home/user_name/Cadence/CD1': Is a directory
0+0 records in
0+0 records out

and just stops!

Could someone please tell how to install 5.0.33?

I have seen the post on installing IC 5.0.33 in RH9....

could someone please help
