Hello! I am just starting to work with Ansys, so I am sorry if this is a trivial question, but I didn't find the answer online. I am trying to design a quarter-wave resonator with loop coupling in Ansys. Basically, I want to do something like in the figure attached, where the main wire entering the setup (on the left) bends and it then comes in contact with the outer cylinder wall. How can I achieve this shape (or something similar) in Ansys? What I need in the end is the resonant frequency and the electric and magnetic fields at the top of the inner cylinder any advice or recommendation for reading/video for this kind of setup would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

For modeling the geometry, use DesignModeler or SpaceClaim in Ansys to sketch and extrude the structures. You can use the Sweep or Loft tool for the bent wire. For simulation, HFSS is best—set up a driven modal analysis, define wave ports, and use a frequency sweep to find resonance. Check Ansys Learning Hub or YouTube for HFSS tutorials on cavity resonators.
