Quality of image in latex

I want to include a matlab figure in latex document, I have converted it in Jpeg and Png format but when i include it in my latex document, the quality degrades , how can i improve the quality, or inwhich format I should change the figure?

Try export to pdf, if you use pdflatex or to eps for standard latex.
