quadrature decoding lpc2000

if anybody knows how to design quadrature decoder (4X,2X)using lpc 21XX series arm controller then plz help me and send me links abt it .
thanks in advance

quadrature decoder

As a first idea you can feed the encoder channel A and B to the uP interrupt line and use counter for every event (when a edge occour). By reading A and B you also know the rotation sense of the encoder.
But what is your frequency requirement, this might be a issue with the microcontroller speed.

arm7 quadrature decoder

freq is variable up to 10khz

and also

only capture mode is available not intr mode

i am using LPC2103

quadrature decoder design

EINT1 and EINT2 seems available for this type of chip...
