Hi

Can some one through light on difference between QFN sockets and TSSOP sockets. I am interested to in "open-top"/"open-pak"/"air-cavity" styled sockets so that the pads of the chip are accessible to RF probes.

Which one, QFN/TSSOP sockets, is recommended ? keeping cost, reliability and other general issues concerned.

PS : I searched in google and edaboard didnt get info anywhere, so that of posting here ....

Regards
SRK
