Q: PCMCIA Cards under VMWare?

Is it possible to access PCMCIA Cards (for example Hilscher PROFIBUS-DP CIF-60 PB) form Win98-SE Guest OS (or any other?) under WMVare Workstation 4.5.1 working on WinXP-SP1 Host OS?

No way. VMWare does not virtualize that kind of hardware.
