python cadence

I am a student from Edinburgh University and I am doing a project involving scripting in Python/Perl for integration in Cadence environment. Can anyone be able to give me any suggestions about the integration process? And also which laguage is better to use for integration Python or Perl?

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

cadence skill python

Cadence is a Skill language compatible. Why don't you try it in Skill language and work on your integration...!!!

cadence call python

You can try to write Python to Skill converter and run it into Cadence environment.

run cadence scripts from shell

It you are willing to use Ocean/SKILL scripting, you can run your script fairly easily: csh("scriptname").

Basically any shell command can be used like that ...
