Hello,everybody.Would you please tell me if my following understanding is correct?

**I think the maximum speed resultant that achieved in a Dc motor when using PWM method
is equal to when directly applying a battery[dc power] into that DC motor and if I still want
to increase DC motor's speed we should used mechanical method that is gear box.

Hi,

Yes, direct DC power is the same as PWM at 100%

The only way to increase speed is by greater voltage or an increasing gearbox but that would reduce the motors power/torque.

Bear in mind that increasing the voltage beyond what the DC motor is rated for may damage the motor.
