psub_StampErrorFloat- Assura LVS

Hi there,

I am working on a low noise amplifer (LNA). In the schematic I used rplpoly_rf resistors of TSMC foundary. I generated the layout from Tools-> Design synthesis -> Layout XL. My DRC was cleared and LVS as well. However, Error Layer Window (ELW) popped up and pointing to every resistor that "psub_StampErrorFloat". I have no idea how to solve it. Could you please help me to solve this?

Are these 3-terminal resistors? If so, you have to connect the 3rd terminal - the bulk tap - to the appropriate supply voltage: VDD for n-well, GND for substrate or p-well, usually by an n+ resp. p+ tap contact & metal1 - same in schematic.
 
Yes, erikl, these are 3-terminal resistors, and I have connected the 3rd terminal to ground similarly I connected the bulk with ground as well. But the error is persistent. I use Assura for DRC and LVS check. Any more clue please.

Do you have the 3rd terminal name declared as a ground net when you run the Assura LVS check?
Which type of resistors are you using? Nwell or Pwell?

Yes, the third terminal named gnd when running Assura LVS check. Now I got rid of this error by changing the Switches Name to "Skip_Soft_Connect_Check". Will it be recommended to use this switch to get rid of the error?
 

The switch does what it says...
Some soft connection errors can be ignored if you understand why they are happening!
If you say which types of resistors are you using and post some picture from the resistor with the error signaling active it will be nice to try and have someone help you ;)

Sorry to insist on this, but are you sure the net is identified as ground in the Assura LVS options?
Another thing you can do is to disconnect the net from the resistor well and see what changes in terms of the errors.
This can help you understand where may the error be coming from...
