Protel DXP - could the files be 'read only' ?

hi all..if u'd notice, some pdf files might have security features like u can't copy, print, etc..so could we do that to any Protel DXP file..? very curious..
 

No - DXP files can be opened and edited by anyone with a copy of DXP. There is no way to lock the file.

i use to work with the same copy of a project file in my company's server with my co workers..we've been edditing the pcb board tons of times..anyway, im thinking of doing some outsourcing work..so it'll really help if someone knows a method of 'locking' the files..u could call it insurance..hehe
