Hi,
The attached (LTspice and .PNG) is a DALI signalling bus and its drive circuitry.
The three ringed diodes are to protect the transistors in case of
High voltage transients which may occur on the DALI bus. -Since the
DALI bus obviously leaves the product and gets installed as wiring around
the rooms of the installation site.
Do you think these 75V rated, SOT23, MMBD4148 diodes will be rated highly enough in voltage for this
useage?
They will also be useful in case of ESD transients.
The DALI transistors are 40V rated.
