Project/term paper ideas

I am a graduate student pursuing my MS...

Can anybody suggest any cool projects/term papers for my networking course..

Projects can be programming oriented...Term papers may be anything theoritical or one with a bit of analysis in it...Im am tired of listening topics like SIP,RTP WAP etc...i want to present an interesting idea if it is a term paper...

Well..i am not very interseted/well versed with the physical layer.Can u please suggest any network layer/transport layer topics..or any project or something..
