Programmer G840 with Pic16f877a

i am unable to program PIC16F877A and PIC 18F2550 please help needed .

Also the configration bits of PIC16F877A are not able to change dont know why?

It uses encrypt function to program bits. but when i read configration it remains unchanged?

anything i need to know?

Can i hard reset it?
 

Perhaps the Code Protect bits have been set, in which case a bulk erase is the only method of clearing and resetting the chip to be reprogrammed.

Not being familiar with the G840, you might try looking for a erase chip or bulk erase option.
