processor clock frequency Vs crystal frequency

How are they different ?

Crystal Frequency -> multiplier/divider -> Clock Frequency

Pls correct me if I'm wrong.
 

In 8085 µp,the crystal used for generating freuency.but we use a jk FF in toggle
mode to generate the clock frequency.

Crystal generates analog signal.
but clock generates digital signal.
 

crystal frequency is reference clock.

processor clock frequency = n * reference clock(for example n = 8)

(generally, we use a PLL to generate processor clock from crystal frequency)
