Process simulator

Does anyone know a software aimed to simulate
an industrial process for instance the responce of an industrial
regulation process. I suppose its possible with things like
Mathlab but I m looking for something more "automation oriented"

Matlab&Simulink can do it.

other choice may be:
simplorer
automation studio
20sim

very nice simulators

I used MatLab + SIMULINK and it works perfect. But I know the license for Simulink is very expensive.

check out Trysim, it's a full 3D testing tool for automation tasks, you can design complete machines with this tool, add I/O to it (prox. switches, valves, cylinders, movement, rotation, ....) and eventually load a complete PLC program in the virtual machine or installation. Many samples includes. I used it for designing palletisers, conveyor tables, product tracking,....

Check it out here
