According to your information, I have followed the Matlab code for genetic algorithm used in the chapter 8, "Introduction to Genetic Algorithm" by S.N. Deepa. The function used here is f(x)=x². I have written the code in Matlab 7.0.0 but when I run the program, it gives an error message as 'the function initbp() is not recognized'. Please help me to fix this problem.
