yes i have gone through the basics of tcl from text books and have gone through the data model relations chapter in the user guide of magma. Could u suggest some situtations ( maybe commonly required in industries)
You can start off by writing some simple scripts like creating a placement blockage of some 3u width all around a macro by taking its box parameters. The same can be extended to create power rings around macros.
