Problem with sending commands via hyperterminal to Siemens C35i mobile

hi.
I am starting a project on SMS controling System. But I cant use the hyperterminal to send commands to my mobile phone. Even i cant type a command in the hyperterminal. My phone is Siemens C35i. please tell me what is te mistake I am doing.

No, the correct and default speed for most Siemens cellphones are 19200 without hardware/software flow control, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit
