hi

i am facing problem in running modelsim 6.5 on windows 7. the software has been installed properly but the licence is not being recognised by the OS.

Has anyone any idea about what to do?

Make sure ModelSim 6.5 is supported by Windows 7.

can u send me a link from where i can get windows 7 compatible MODELSIM and its licence?????

Added after 5 hours 37 minutes:

here is the ouput waveform that i am getting in my simulation

the OS doesn't care about the license.
only vsim will look to the license file.

is it 64bit windows 7?

Mentor doesnt support 64bit officially. I have been told if you have a network licence you will be scuppered.

Mentor supports officially 64 on linux machine

im the new user in FPGA field... and im really interesting to start with modelsim,,,???

Run Modelsim in compatibility mode - Windows XP SP3, I was facing similar issue and its did helped me.
