please help me i made RTC with 2051 and done but my problem is that that time is not constant and change frequently. what i do?

Re: RTC constant prblem

Your question is vague and I am no specialist with a 2051, however there are several things to look for. Do you have a watchdog timer running? Are there interrupts being falsely triggered? Is your power supply stable? (Are you sure?) ((Are you absolutely certain that it is?))

Now the less easy part, the software. Look for any place that the program might have wandered. Look for nested loops that it may have become entangled in. Make sure that all the subroutines are only using the variables they're supposed to, and doing the right things.

Re: RTC constant prblem

the prob is in RTC bcz in the rtc there is one second output and i can see the duration of one changin in it. XTL is 32k of rtc.
