Problem with reading the time from RTC PCF8563

I am using RTC PCF8563, and MSP430F449 I2C Software communication. I can reading the time form the device. second is working fine from 0-59, but when i read the munite it is changing from 0-39. after comes 39 then its starts from 0. so pls any body tell me what may be the problem for this.

I have done this RTC with atmel 2051 but working fine, I think you are mistaking in the software somewhere, show your coding and schametic then can help you.

Lets see, 56 posts for the obscure TI MSP430F449, why did you pick TI for your work? You never get any code for it, see if there are TI forums.

I think sn_burki is right. It's probably a mistake in the code.
Can you post the code?
