Problem with power plot in cadence Virtuso

evaluation error (unknown scalar data type: nil)

Hi
I was trying to calculate the power consumed by an instance in cadence spectre using the calculator option. I am able to get the waveform of the power and when i am clicking on the calculator->then click on wave->then take an average-> and click evaluate.....it is giving me a warning
"Evaluation error, Unknown scalar data type: nil".

Can any one solve this....

after calculater appears, just click on average and then click on evaluate ! it sud work !

Could you explain how did you get that power ?
Did you multiply current by VDD ?
