Problem with post-translate simulation in Modelsim 5.8

i use xilinx's ise6.2 and modelsim5.8;
i have already compli xilinx'libs for modelsim;
but when i simulate a design in POST-TRANSLATE-SIMU ,it dose not work!
why?

maybe ,you put testbench above the design file.
you can place testbench under the design file and
try again . good lucky

You also need to the map the libraries in modelsim to the location where they exist using 'vmap.' Unless you map the libraries, both simprim and unisim won't work in any real simulation beyond behavioral.
