problem with modelsim simulation

whenever i try to simulate a design it gives me a error message saying
signal 11 caught in vish modelsim

please reply urgently
 

what is signal 11?
 

can u metion the source to obtain the modelsim linux version & the procedure to install it.

how the path for the installation is set in the linux where should be the license file.


how a file from windows can be used in linux without addition of any metacharacters or viseversa.

please help.
