Problem with downloading tools through https

I need to download some eda tools.
the issue is that the download is HTTPS ... whenever my connection gets disconnected i have to start it freshly and the download never complets

can anyone suggest me something

have you ever tried software like "getright", "flashget"
they might resolve your issue by starting the download from where the internet connection was disconnected.

try opera web browser, it has intelligent download management.

Or just google download managment software.

you can use Emule 0.47c or Emule 0.48 versions to download the softwarez or E-books, movies. works well....... if you want the software i can send it to you
