problem with 16f877& icprog

I can't program 16f877 with icprog, this software always show a message 'Programming failed at code address 0000h', ¿How can i solve this problem?.I have jdm programmmer

I don't know icprog, but you should pay attention to the fact that the programming algorithm for 16F877 differs from that of 16F877A.
Perhaps this helps solving your problem.

I use propic2 and there are no problems to program these MC.
The hardware is very simple and the software is good enough.
