Problem with 12c508 simulation in proteus

Been happily using MPLAB and Proteus together with 16F84A for the past couple of months, but when a friend asked for help using the 12C508 the following occured.
When trying to simulate the program in proteus the following error occured.

ERROR:[U1] Must specify file extension for program property.

Any help will be grateful.
 

Does you hex file has an hex extension?
Have you right click on the device and load that hex file?
Please post the hex file, so we can help you.
