problem to reading analog signal in proteus usiing arduino
I want to show analog value on serial monitor in proteus using arduino.I use the A0 pin of arduino for analog reading.code is compiled successfully in arduino software.when I burn the hex file in arduino in proteus software virtual terminal show reading 1023.I have connected potentiometer to A0 pin of arduino.when I change the resistance of potentiometer ,virtual terminal reading of proteus doesn't change which upset me.
Even I disconnect potentiometer form A0 pin,reading remain same(1023).
It is similar as A0 pin read the 5v.1023 reading is possible when A0 pin read 5v.
At 0v virtual terminal show 1023 reading.which is not right.
please help me, how can I troubleshoot.
