Problem on differential power amplifier power combine

Since power combine would be used off chip, i can simply use a transformer.
However, the problem is that two differential outputs may be short if the equivalent resistance (seen from the impedance matching network) is small, which causes the output power not doubled.

Anyone has the experience on the differential amplifier? How can power combine achieve by a transformer?
