Hello All

i have written a code for microC and it work correctly in protues and precise

but when i input frequency directly to T1CK1(i have programmed to input frequency) the micro read a large number of frequency .

so , is there dedicated circuit between Micro and terminal of frequency PICFREQ.jpg

with LCD pin3 grounded, you don't get any display. Connect pin 3 to Ground thro' 1K . At least the display will start showing some thing.

i have not any problems in code or simulation , it work well , but the problem when i connect hardware and measure any frequency the lcd show large number , as example , when i measure 50 HZ , lcd display 12560 but in simulation the value is precise .

please connect a square wave of 5v peak to peak and then try.

If sine wave is used, it needs to be preconditioned to suit the port pin.. If you checjk many frequency counters, the input is not directly given to digital counter. The input signal is conditioned and then applied.
as you are connecting a signal, it needs a signal pre conditioning.
