PROBLEM 'compiling and validating' a MobileVB [AppForge] prj

I'm having problems with 'compiling and validating' MobileVB 3.2 [AppForge] projects. Everytime I try to compile I get the following error message: "1080 Assembler Error: Internal Error: Linker failed". I looked in the help files what this means and this is what they say:

This error can occur if there is a configuration or permission problem related to the MobileVB™ installation. Please contact MobileVB technical support if you are unable to resolve the problem.

Is there any way of fixing this problem without contacting technical support???
