Hi,
I simulated this artcle with HFSS, but my result is very diffrent form original result!
what is problem?
Help me?
simulation file is here

Hi ,

I am working on project related to your project.

I will check your design and i will see what can i do.

regards

I think i do not account feed effect, how can i simulate it?

Hi, Leilon
I think your model is not correct. The two upper rectangular patches are isolated, though they are perfect E. They won't function properly as in the paper. That is to say your model is not a cpw fed antenna, it's a patch antenna with two parasite patches.

Hi Honglin,

Then which boundary condition should be assigned to these two plates instead ?

Could you correct the file and attache it again to have a useful discussion.

regards

Mustafa

Hi, Mustafa_Engineer

I tuned the model a bit and simulated, the result can be seen as below.
For the antenna is purely a 2 dimensional one, I suggest you use IE3D, ADS momentum or Ansoft Designer to simulate. If hfss is preferred, I suggest you read a topic in this post: .

Best regards.

Honglin

I can not post two attachment in one reply post.

Thank you very much,
It's work, it really useful, thanks man.

Hi Leilon and Honglin,

I have simulated the attached file , the S11 curve is different from the one the one that you have attached.

I am using HFSS v10.

Hi Mustafa,
I simulated. it's approximately near the interested result that obtained with CST.
I think that using discrete simulation and increase accuracy this result near the interested result. I am learning CST 2008, and I try with it in future too.
Thanks for helping
