I have a question in paper "Digital Background Calibration of Pipeline ADC Based on Correlation". I get problem about correlation algorithm between PN with ADC digital out. In paper, i see your correlation equation between PN with Dres, because i want to perform correlation on digital domain, but when I do the correlation between PN and Dres, the value is not enough 8 (no gain error and 3.5 bit stage), but if I add the correlation with Vres in the last stage, it is enough 8. Because I know that when digitizing Vres, Dres will not contain full PN information but it is still on Vres, but we are working with digital domain so I want to do it with only digital information and I also see articles doing that. I am having difficulty that if I only correlate with Dres, I only get the value 7.34. Hope you will help with me.
