Dear All,

I'm Using Altium Designer Winter 09 and I would like to print Assembly variants with a parameter set for each variant.

I have tried the following:
1- Create a Project Parameter: Var_Value = "Dummy"
2- Created Several Variants: Var1; Var2; Var3
3- Setted the parameter Var_Value for each Varx on Variant manager (This requires to add Var_Value to each variant !!!!): Var1 - Value1 .. etc.
4- Added on PCB a Text String: ".Var_Value".
5- Used the similar procedure for Schematic, adding a Text String: "=Var_value".

Point 5) works fine, and when I add on OutputJob several variants the parameter is updated and the correct text string appears (Value1 ...)
But the same procedure with Assembly Variant Output returns only "Dummy" (the default value placed on Project Parameter manager)

Does any one knows how can I implement this?
Is this a "bug" or a "feature" from Altium?

Thank you very much in advance for you attention.
Best Regards
