primetime-si

I have heard from cadence sales, they said celtic first generate a timing file through a spice engine, so it timing more true than PT-SI.

for noise analysis Celtic does a better job. so usually for Post route timing and Cross talk PT is used and for noise analysis Celtic is used

si analysis with primetime

People familiar with PT will find using PT-SI easy to learn and use.Its a good tool as well. Celtic is very good for noise analysis but little bit difficult to learn and use.

In the end it depend s upon the project needs like technology you are working, which
company flow you are using, and rampup time you are having

mostly victim .. because if u try to move aggressive it may affect at some other place..... it all depends on the metal available to move or sheiding can be done..

Run time is one more concern to make choice between PT-SI and PT with CeltIC.
PT-SI takes longer time.
