Primetime is more reliable than Pearl.

They are both static timing analyzers. PrimeTime is from Synopsys and is more popular. Pearl is outdated and it's replacement is Cadence ETS, Encounter Timing System.

hi,
pt is most popular in eda world, now cadence bring out CTE/ETS. but it's just a market issue. actually, pt is the first choice .
