what are the prerequisites topics in math/analog_signal_processing/in_general
do I need to have a strong foundation
which help me in studying digital signal processing and digital filter design
and understand it well , preparing me for Dsp implementation of Comm systems,
multimedia and image processing, if there is a graph for prerequisites it will be very
helpful.
Advanced calculus and familiarity with introductory complex variable theory. Previous exposure to linear system theory for continuous-time signals, including Laplace and Fourier transforms, is required. No experience with discrete-time signals, z-transforms, or discrete Fourier transforms is assumed.
Newer courses or books require knowledge in Linear Algebra and vector spaces. And recommend some familiarity with with probability theory and Matlab (or equivalent).
