Hi Makers

I am working on a project that aims at substituting batteries (or increasing their lifetime) to power embedded systems, sensors and wearables by exploiting body movements.
I would like to know about some of your experiences with creating and experimenting with such devices i.e. embedded systems, sensors and wearables.

Please let me know what you think on the link above.

Thank you!

I recall in 1971 I had a self-winding wristwatch. No battery. All day long my normal (more or less random) arm movements shook a mechanism in the watch to keep the spring wound.
More recently I believe I've seen ads about similar mechanisms generating electricity to power the watch.
