question:can I estimate the power of asynchronous systems
using powerCompiler, Synopsis? Other programs for asynchronous
testing and power estimation?

thank you

Hi,
I don't think there's any power tools from Synopsys or Cadence can deal with asynchronous circuits.

hi,
I think you can save everynode toggle when simulation and backannotate them to your design, then using primepower to estimate the power.
and also I think setting average toggle rate is not feasible for asyn design.
