mc34063 sim300

Hi

Which regulator are you using with SIM300 module?

Do you think that MC34063 will be enough?

Thankfully,
Ernesto.

power supply for sim300

I use LM350

is it ok to use 7805 and current boosting amplifier like 2n3055 for power supply

Added after 3 minutes:

tell me some way to start designing power supply for modem using sim300

LM 350 need 28 Volt Vin ??? Or it just can be 12 V if i need the output voltage around 4V?

You can't use a 7805 - that's a 5V regulator and the SIM300 has max voltage of 4.5V. Look at this trhead () it has a schematic of a PS that wil lwork.
