what is post & jig test for hardware

Hi,
i want to build a testing jig for a multy output power supply,
that checks correct output voltages, ripple etc.
the result should be send automatically to a PC.
Did anyone ever build such a jig?
any ideas?software?
Thanks,
BULL

I think the best approach will be to use LabView software and GPIB compatible test equipment (you must have a GPIB card in your PC,
National Instruments is the most common ~ $495(US) ). You could use
HP VEE or Matlab for the software, but HP VEE is ~ a clone of Labview
and Matlab will be overkill , ( But I personally like Matlab better).
P.S. There are other way

Hope this helps
