Can power supply act as a current supply? How is it possible.

Yes, power supplies supply current and voltage. Depending on the design you can control either.

It will work providing the power supply voltage goes re-entrant when the current trip level is exceeded. PSU 1, only a fuse to protect it against over current. PSU 2 When the current is exceeded, the output voltage is tripped. PSU3 has a current overload adjustment, this is the re-entrant type, if the current demand is higher then the setting, it reduces the voltage so that the current is reduced to that set up.
Current sinking is the ability to absorb current with the terminal voltage not increasing. No power supply can do this alone. If you have a PSU 3 feeding a load, then the load can sink current because the PSU will automatically reduce its own current.

The title of the thread asks if a power supply can act as a current sink. Then within the thread, you ask if it can be a current supply. Which is it?
