power on reset circuit for at89c51

i need to design a power on reset circuit for at89c51... i am using 11.0592 crystal.. in the manual it is stated to use 8.2k resistor and 10uf capacitor.. can i use 82k resistor (for eg) and 1uf capacitor which gives the same time constant ? please help.. how to calculate the values for power on reset circuit ? thanks in advance..
