Hi

Power is important in every situation but is critical in mobile devices:

1. Power delivered from battery is limited
2. Battery size is important
3. long duration of operations is important
4. ...

How to reduce:
search for a good book in this area

tnx

There is a good book I know of:

Low Power Methodology Manual: For System-on-Chip Design (Series on Integrated Circuits and Systems) (Hardcover)
by Michael Keating (Author), David Flynn (Author), Rob Aitken (Author), Alan Gibbons (Author), Kaijian Shi (Author)

https://www.amazon.com/Power-Methodology-Manual-System-Chip/dp/0387718184

Get this book or look for it online.
