power domains in encounter

Basically I want to measure the power of 3 components of a chip separately. So do I have to define 3 power domain for each of them?

In SOC encounter, the definition of power domain need library, constraint etc. Do I really have to provide them to each power domain although all power domains share the same library and constraint?

I'm new user. Please help.
