for reducing the power consumption of digital systems we need to have an estimation of it.
please introduce me some tools for this work

Hi,
synopsys primepower is used to estimate power analysis of digital circuits

Hi,
If I'm not wrong, I already replied to one of ur similar post...refer to that and please be specific ...posting open ended and broad questions will not give you good answers ...u can search google as well if all u r looking for the just tools names...

hi,
Use voltagestrom for power cosumption estimation .This is a properitery of Cadence.

either u can use RedHawk by Apache Solutions
U did'nt mention exactly , u need to calculate the power at which level of abstraction, anyways u can also go through MACH PA by mentor graphics

Design Complier with vcd generated by ncverilog with tcf file would help u.

hi,
In Cadence family ,we have a set of tools for this purpose.
VOLTAGE STROM:power GRID ANALYSIS & estimation.
POWERMETER: power consumption information ca be used effectively for digital systems.

Power Theatr from sequence, a nice tool makes changes in ur RTL. Prime Power from synopsys to estimate power in ur netlist. Power meter by cadence.
Sumit

Do we need to generate test vectors Prime Power to work?
